12 Year old Alexa Gonzalez who attends a middle school in New York was handcuffed and taken off to jail about a week ago for doodling on a desk in her class room.

The words of wisdom that were doodled were…”I love my friends Abby and Faith,” then she added “Lex was here. 2/1/10″ and a smiley face….OMG! The horrors of it all! Just kidding folks. The dreaded doodle was done with a green marking pen and according to Alexa could have been easily cleaned off.

This is so outrageous I really can´t think of anything much to say…hmmm. Ok here is something, What is up with the school Gestapo, ooops I mean police? Just when did doodling become a big enough crime to warrant handcuffing a 12 year old girl in front of her mates and hauling her off to jail? Have you guys ever heard of detention, or maybe right a report?

The good news is Mz. Gonzales only spent around 2 hours or so at the Police Station and then was released. The city said that the arrest should have not happened.
