A US Border Patrol agent was run down and killed by fleeing Mexican drug smugglers. After a chase on Interstate 8 the smugglers headed south to the Mexican border where agent Luis Aguilar, 32, died when he was struck by a car driven by a suspected drug smuggler. The incident happened some 20 miles west of Yuma, Arizona at the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area.

Gunbattles between federal forces and drug-cartel members carrying rocket-propelled-grenade launchers have taken place over the past two weeks in border towns like Rio Bravo and Tijuana, with deadly results. They have ambushed and killed more than 20 police officers this year. In the past two weeks, four federal agents and three Baja California police commanders have been assassinated, along with the wife and child of one of them, apparently in retaliation for arrests, law-enforcement officials said, and it is spilling over into the states. Reports of Agents being stoned by drug and human smugglers have come out.

Remember with all of this violence the Democrats pandering to illegal aliens gutted border fence spending!
