Comprehensive Immigration Reform: Again?
Republican presidential nominee John McCain seems to be backing off his secure the border first statement and is again using the term Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
You might remember that he was the co-author of that defeated legislation along with Senator Ted Kennedy.
The timing of this is very apparent, as the remarks came after he had the Republican nomination sewed up. I will give him credit for one thing though, he stands by his convictions even though his stance on the Iraq war and illegal immigration might well cost him the election this fall.
That being said let us not forget that Senators Clinton and Obama are also for Amnesty for illegal aliens!
You may ask why is this because it is clear that the majority of voters do not want amnesty and want the border secured. The only reason that makes any sense at all is all three of the candidates are pandering to the greedy unpatriotic bastards that run big business and are not at all interested in what the voters think.
Scary!! Sure they will give the voters some lip service on issues, but when elected it will be back to business as usual. And then there is NAFTA and all the other free trade agreements that were a disaster. But we will not get into that at this time.
