Jefferson, a Democrat, was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 4, 2007, about two years after federal agents said they found the cash in his freezer. The Feds said the bills were marked and the transaction was caught on video. He was convicted on several counts including bribery, wire fraud and racketeering.

This is just another case of many involving crooked greedy politicians and furthers the idea of term limits in congress. No one should be allowed there longer then 8 years. Come to think of it maybe that is to long because the crooks on K street will definitely have there hooks into a congress man (woman) way before 8 years.

Shame on you Mr. Jefferson!
