In a move that could hurt Google users in China, the worlds largest search engine executives said that they will no longer censor content for there Chinese operations and probably will pull out of the market if the government does not agree with this decision. Google has been struggling about there operations there for a long time because the censorship issue goes against there motto of (Dont be evil).
The straw that seems to have broke the Camel’s back was that Google uncovered a highly sophisticated and targeted attack on our corporate infrastructure originating from China aimed at accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists.
All we can say is that our love for Google has been elevated by a considerable degree. Also remember that China is not the only country that censors the Internet and we should watch out ourselves here in the US because there are some in Washington DC that would jump at the chance to silence some blogs and sites here in the US that do not agree with there sneaky ways. Anyways…
Way To Go Google
