If you use Google Chrome you are familiar with the new tab page which shows thumbs of your recent page visits. Then as extensions became available for the regular releases instead of just on the Dev. channel here comes Speed Dial which has been available for Firefox for quite sometime now.

Speed Dial for Chrome when activated takes over the new tab in Chrome and is much more flexible then the built in new tab in the browser. It is very cool.

Now we get to the focus of this article. Version 0.7.1 of Incredible StartPage which was released on Monday, April 12, 2010. It is very very cool and includes a bunch of backgrounds ready to go and a place for you to insert your custom ones. It also takes over the new tab page so the first thing I did was to deactivate speed dial, just to be on the safe side before installing Incredible Startpage. But enough of my ramblings.
