Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets for the second night in a row to riot in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday night to protest the police shooting of a Guatemalan immigrant.

Protest, give me a break. The guy had a knife and refused to drop it as ordered by police. The police said they told him to drop the knife in English and Spanish before they put a couple of rounds in his drunk ass. As far as I´m concerned the warning in English is all that needed to be said, but the police used Spanish also and should be commended for that.

Police said witnesses informed them that Manuel Jamines had a drinking problem and threatened a woman with a knife moments before his death.

No word as to whether or not Jamines was here illegally or not, but that is no surprise as gang ridden Los Angeles is a well known sanctuary city. The cops under no circumstances are to ask if someone is here illegally even if the person is violent
