It has been along time coming but the victory for consumers was sweet. Mattel and its subsidiary Fisher Price were fined 2.3 million. The greedy management of these companies had fired American workers and outsourced all of there manufacturing to Communist Chinese sweat shops. A lot of the toys that were shipped back for sale in the holiday season of 2007 contained large amounts of lead in the paint on them.

Obviously the company was just interested in stuffing there wallets and not at all interested in stuffing the Christmas stockings of small children with safe toys. All of the effected toys were recalled.
