McCain shows colors in Michigan
McCain says Michigan jobs gone for good and re-training workers is the way to go.
This statement tells me that McCain is for all of the disastrous free trade agreements that we have entered into and for Amnesty for all of the illegal aliens that have come and took what jobs that were left for less then minimum wage. (Michigan has the highest un-employment rate in the country)
The Brass Monkey thinks that this is not acceptable. It was not all that many years ago that we made most of what we buy right here in the good ole USA! Guess what? It worked just fine. Now we have places like Wal-Mart that dictate to it’s suppliers that the only way to sell there stuff at Wal-Mart is to use Communist Chinese sweat shops to make cheap crap in.
America is becoming a house of cards folks, we mostly manufacture nothing and the buffoons in Washington DC have just about bankrupted the country by reckless spending, while the greedy banks and mortgage company’s are now in so much trouble they need money from foreign countries to stay afloat.
Reflecting back on the first paragraph: we think that is a defeatist attitude and things can be turned around but we need someone with the stones to do it, and not someone for free-trade and the advocates for amnesty

This reply is for Senator McCain. You say the jobs are gone and the way to go is to retrain the fired workers who lost there jobs to illegal immigrants and outsourcing.
Senator, retrain to do what, flip burgers? There is not much left to retrain for.
Keep up the hope Susan, maybe they will train laid off workers to make a bed with hospital corners so they can be employed at one of the chain motels in the area which is probably owned by Arabs.
