Former California assemblyman Mike Duvall a proclaimed home values advocate resigned from the legislature after a tape was released hearing him talk about, amongst other things how he enjoyed giving one of his mistresses a ‘spanking’
Mike Duvall stepped down Wednesday after a videotape surfaced in which he was overheard telling a lawmaker about having sex with a lobbyist and another woman, including salacious details about how one mistress wears skimpy underwear and likes to be spanked.
The woman referred to is a lobbyist for an energy company. Since the revelations came out you can bet there will be a hard look at the lobbyist and the company she was working for to see if any shady deals were done. I guess you could call it instead of pay to play it would be sex for play. In fact the Assembly Ethics Committee is investigating Duvall’s comments, in part to determine whether the affair might have influenced his votes beings as he was vice chairman of the Assembly Utilities Committee

“Family Values” California state assemblyman representing Orange County, Republican Michael D. Duvall, resigns for apparently not cheating on his wife. Well you have to take his word for it, or maybe believe that hypocrisy has been bred in. In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away rights of those they just hate) and that’s who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”. He is just another name that can be added to the list of Republican 2009 summer of love: Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), SC Board of Ed Chair, Kristin Maguire.
