MS 13 Gang Member Sentenced For Murder Of 14 Year Old

by Paul Kay on October 14, 2009

hector hernandezHector Mauricio Hernandez was sentenced to 30 years in prison for first-degree murder and 10 years each for two counts of first-degree assault in Montgomery County (Maryland) Circuit Court last Thursday. In the fall of 2008 Hernandez got off of a bus and then fired several shots back into the bus killing Tai Lam (14) and wounding two others. Hernandez an illegal alien had been arrested before for harassing a student at Northwood High School in Silver Spring.

The question arises is what the hell was he still doing in this country after the first arrest? If he was deported then, the latest crimes he committed probably would not have happened.

A camera was found showing him in MS-13 clothing and flashing gang signs. Hernandez also sports an MS-13 tattoo on his arm. Detective Scott Webster a gang policemen testified that Hernandez told him he was in the MS-13 faction “Normandy Locos Salvatrucha,” which is based in the Piney Branch Road and University Boulevard area of Silver Spring. Here we come with another question. Why hasn’t the whole gang in that location been rounded up and checked for immigration status? It is a good bet that a lot of them are illegal aliens also. The fact that this has not been done is simply outrageous especially since that the MS 13 gang is a violent group from El Salvador and is heavily involved in pushing drugs.

We will say though that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has filed a detainer for Hernandez since his arrest.
