New Friends For Taylor & King
Hold onto your hats. One of the biggest music tours of the Summer so far is Carole King & James Taylor´s Troubadour tour.
There music first hit the scene in the early 70´s with Carole King´s Tapestry album and James Taylor´s Sweet Baby James.
Now you might expect that the Hippie generation sometimes referred to now as the baby boomers would attend in mass, they did, but the surprise came from all of the people in there teens, twenty´s and thirty´s that showed up. Most of the concerts were sold out! When you stop and think about it this is truly amazing, because a lot of the attendees were not even born back in the time these artists were famous.
A little reminder from The Brass Monkey Blog . Net, check out our slowly expanding When Music Moved A Generation sister site. It was put up for several reasons. One is to allow aging hippies to shall we say ‘flash back” and two, to expose all ages to the music of the time. Keep On Truckin´
