During the Bush administration it was stall stall stall on protecting the environment. You would here statements like if we try to get cleaner air it would be bad for the economy. Guess what he did nothing to help clean up our act and look what happened to the economy! With Dictator Bush it was all about how to get the fat cats fatter.

In 2006 the Supreme Court affirmed that carbon dioxide (CO2) was a pollutant under the Clean Air Act, in a case of Massachusetts v. EPA and ordered EPA to determine whether or not CO2 endangered public health or welfare and, if so, to begin promulgating regulations to address it.

Par for the course, the Bush administration ignored the decision and refused to make the endangerment determination ordered by the High Court. This was just another example of Bush and his politicized corrupt Justice department of not enforcing anything that they happen to disagree with.

Here comes the place where the differance is like between night and day. The Obama administration has already used the economic recovery package and the President’s budget to make down payments on its sweeping agenda to renew and rebuild our economy using clean energy. Oh yeah, the Obama administration will announce that CO2 and other greenhouse gasses endanger public health and welfare on April 16 (the so-called “endangerment determination” ordered by the Supreme Court).
