We just love posting stories like this. A grandfather is racing to see his grandson before the three year old is taken off life support and allowed to die.

Mark Dickinson was delayed at the Los Angeles airport by a long security line and feared he would miss his flight to Denver where his grandson was in the hospital.

Marks wife is said to have called Southwest and asked them if they could hold the plane until he got there. The pilot held the plane and met Mr. Dickinson on the jet way and escorted him on the plane. Dickson told him, ‘Thank you so much. I can´t tell you how much I appreciated that. The pilot said, No problem. They can´t leave without me anyway.

Caden Rodgers his grandson was in the hospital there after his mothers boyfriend threw the 3 year old into a wall. Mr. Dickinson made it to the hospital in time.

Kudos to Southwest Airlines!
