Wave goodbye to more money headed for China.

We are sure that you and probably everyone in the U.S. has heard about green jobs that are going to play a large part in bringing our economy back. Remember when Bush in his earlier years as president said yeah we will lose some lo tech manufacturing jobs but we will be the leaders in high tech jobs. Well we all know how that worked out. A lot of the high tech jobs left the country just like those lo tech jobs did. We were lied to big time.

But back to the green jobs. Obama said there would be stimulus money for green jobs and companies. There has been to some degree. But just as we thought that the green thing might work for us, up comes a deal to build a huge wind farm in south west Texas, big in cost (1.5 billion, big in megawatts output (600 megawatt) and big in sending more money to China whose company Shenyang Power Group got the contract to manufacture the turbines.

With $450 million of the money for the project coming from U.S. stimulus funding, it is beginning to look like a lot of that stimulus will be stimulating Chinese workers and not ours.
