A federal judge in Oklahoma denied late Wednesday a request by Latino groups to block the implementation of a new state law targeting illegal immigrants, paving the way for the bill to take effect November 1st.
Latino groups sought the preliminary injunction to stop the new law, which would bar illegal immigrants from obtaining jobs or state assistance and make it a felony to harbor or transport illegal aliens.
The Brass Monkey applauds this decision the judge made, after all why in heavens name should Oklahoma citizens pay for state assistance to illegal alien criminals (they are breaking the law by just being in this country). The new law is one of the toughest anti-illegal immigration laws in the country.
