The only way to clean up Washington is to throw them all out.

How many new politicians run with good ideas and good intentions only to find out they will never get anything accomplished if they don’t play ball with there seniors? They get sucked in and vote for things that they really would not have voted for, and the other way around, vote against things they wanted. All in hopes that they can do things they went there for in the first place. The only way around this problem and let the new congress persons get there good ideas in is to throw out ALL of the incumbents.

Incumbents are re-elected because of seniority. They play the ‘my seniority can get things done card’ and convince the voters that a new person would not be effective.(Translation: I am deep in the pockets of the K-Street thugs and can get what big-business wants done). Oh yeah I might get some pork for my home district so I can look good. Which is why when a large majority of the public is dissatisfied with Congress, a large majority of the incumbents are reelected.

The only way to fix the problem is to throw them ALL out at the same time and or set term limits. We don’t even get to decide on term limits, they do, but we can give them the boot.
