What’s up with this? Who would do that? The Democrats of course.

Can falsified registrations become votes? If the Democrats push universal voter registration by overriding state elections procedures, you bet, says John Fund. (John Fund writes the weekly “On the Trail” column for Opinion Journal.com. He is author of “Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy”) This is the Democrats stealth bill and it is even more sneaky than the health care bill.

If you think that Acorn attempts at corrupting the voter registration process was bad this attempt by the Democrats will make the Acorn effort look like small potatoes.

Here is some of what Mr. Fund had to say in a presentation to the David Horowitz forum last November…
Democrats were very rattled by the November 3rd (2009) election results. What do liberals do when they lose elections? They change the rules. In January, Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank will propose universal voter registration. What is UVR? It means all of the state laws will be overridden by a federal mandate.

The feds will tell the states: Take everyone on every list of welfare recipients, take everyone on every list of unemployed you have, take everyone on every list of property owners, all driver’s license holders, and register them to vote, regardless of whether they want to be. Oh, and by the way there will be felon re-enfranchisement too. — (TBMB insert, Oh joy, does that mean illegal alien criminals will be allowed to vote also?)

Now, they will sell this very cleverly. They will say, Well, OK, ACORN did have some problems with voter registration . . . we should not have these third-party rogue groups out there, so let’s put ACORN out of business. Let’s register everybody! —(TBMB insert, Don’t be fooled by this line of BS folks.)

You say you have not heard anything about this. The answer to that is simple. They do not want you to hear about it until it is to late to do anything about it. Mr. Fund thinks that it will be only a couple of weeks from the day the bill is introduced till it hits the house floor.

TBMB Sidebar: When Senate majority leader Harry Reid’s remarks about candidate Obama back in 2008 came out the Democrats fluffed it off as no big deal. You can bet your bum if a Republican had made the remarks the Dems would be screaming Racist and demanding the persons resignation.
