Showing unabashed Corporate Greed Yahoo helped the repressive Communist Chinese government nab a citizen there who sent an E-Mail on the anniversery of and mentioning the Tiananmen Square massacre by snitching him off to the Chinese authorities. As a result of this the person who sent the E-mail got 10 years in jail.

This is just anouther example of US companies in the name of there bottom line helping repressive governments silence there citizens. Other companys that readily come to mind are Microsoft and Cisco.Yahoo perhaps to make it easy to say ‘it’s not our fault sold Yahoo China to Alibaba, China’s top e-commerce website, probably owned by the Communist government, however they still own 40% of the shares and hold several board seats.
